Leica MultiMapper is a compact airborne mapping system that integrates imaging and LiDAR in a single, easy-to-deploy solution. Built on Leica Geosystems’ expertise in hybrid airborne mapping, MultiMapper is optimised for fast mobilisation and efficient operations on small helicopters and light fixed-wing aircraft. Weighing less than 25 kilograms including eframe, the system is well suited for missions where rapid access, flexibility, and reliable data capture are essential, such as city modelling, corridor mapping, and post-event assessment. MultiMapper is fully supported by Leica Geosystems’ workflow, providing a streamlined, end-to-end process from data capture through to data delivery.
Compact by design. Built for performance
MultiMapper combines a multi view camera with high-performance LiDAR in a compact 25 kilos pod. The camera configuration features nadir and oblique views, while the LiDAR operates at up to 2 MHz, enabling high-density, high-quality data capture in a lightweight form factor. The system’s compact architecture supports installation on small helicopters and light fixed-wing aircraft, even in constrained or hard-to-access environments.
