LiuGong and Leica Geosystems partner to release 3D machine control-ready kit for excavators

(Munich, Germany, 9 April 2025) Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and LiuGong, a global leader in construction equipment manufacturing, today announced their collaboration to offer a new kit that will streamline the installation of Leica Geosystems’ MC1 3D system on a range of LiuGong excavators.  

The partnership will ensure that LiuGong machines are pre-equipped with the necessary hardware for easy future integration with Leica Geosystems' advanced MC1 3D control systems. As a result, customers will enjoy significantly reduced machine lead times, lowering the workload for dealers and customer workshops during machine setup.

The kit will be available on the following LiuGong excavator models: 913FCR, 915FCR, 915F, 922F, 923FN, 925FCR, 926F, 930F, 936F, 942F, 952F and through LiuGong dealer partners in Europe and the UK.
