Leica Xsight360 delivers cutting-edge, AI-powered situational awareness directly on heavy equipment. Up to six rugged cameras can be mounted on any machine to provide a full 360° perception of the surrounding environment. These cameras work in tandem with advanced convolutional neural networks running on a powerful NVIDIA-based platform, trained on extensive datasets from real-world construction sites. This enables the system to accurately detect humans, vehicles and construction poles in real time, ensuring continuous, reliable awareness in complex and dynamic site conditions.

When a hazard is detected, operators receive instant visual and audio alerts via the in-cabin display, showing the object's direction and distance. Customisable settings, like audio volume and camera preferences, can be adjusted through the Leica Xsight360 cloud platform. The system also supports external alerts (e.g., beacon lights, speakers, spotlights) to warn nearby workers. Additionally, the AI models are self learning, continuously improving detection accuracy over time through user feedback and real-world interactions.
