Before your application

I have questions about an open position. Who can I contact?
Our Talent Acquisition Team is always there for you! You can find the direct contact to your contact person in the respective job advertisement.

Can I apply on my own initiative?
Since we publish all open and approved positions on our career page, we unfortunately cannot consider unsolicited applications. But no worries: With our job newsletter, you will always stay up to date and never miss new job offers.

Can I submit my application by post or email?
For data protection reasons, we only accept applications through our online portal. Please submit your documents there – this way, everything is safe and quick with us.

The position I am interested in has been advertised for a while. Can I still apply?
Yes, as long as the position is visible on our career page, it is still open. Just apply online – we look forward to your application!

What should I pay attention to when applying?
We appreciate a meaningful resume. If you want, you can supplement it with a cover letter, certificates, or references. But that's not a must – we mainly want to get to know you!

Someone who works with you recommended me for a position. What should I do?
How great! Recommendations from our employees are worth their weight in gold to us. It's best to mention the person's name directly in your application or in the conversation with the manager. This way, we can properly classify the recommendation.

I do not have Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship. Can I still apply?
We are proud of our diverse workforce, which consists of over 50 nations. However, we must adhere to cantonal regulations.

Can I apply for multiple positions at the same time?
Of course! If you are interested in multiple positions, you can easily apply for several jobs through our candidate center. Alternatively, your Talent Acquisition Specialist is also available to assist you. We can generally only review applications from non-EU/EFTA citizens after six months if the position has not been filled. If we fulfil the requirements, we will be happy to take the next step with you.

How can I log in to the candidate center?
By logging in here with the username and password you received after your first application.

I forgot my password. What can I do?
You can request a new password here by entering the email address you used to apply.

What can I do in the candidate center?
In the candidate center, you can edit your application, upload an updated resume, submit missing documents via message, withdraw your application(s), and delete your profile.

After your application

What happens after I submit my application?
After we receive your application, we review it together with the responsible manager. It is important to us to give you feedback within two weeks. Curious about the exact process? You can find more information here.

I received an email stating that my application is incomplete, even though I submitted all the documents. What now?
It seems that our applicant management system did not recognize your files correctly due to technical reasons. Don't worry! Contact your Talent Acquisition Team representative directly. They will assist you and inform you about the current status of your application.

Privacy

How are my data processed?
Your data is important to us. Details on how we process your information can be found in our privacy policy.

How long do you store my documents in your system?
Your data will be stored in our applicant management system for 12 months from the day of your application. Before submitting your application, you can also give us your consent for longer storage of up to 24 months. After this period, your data will be automatically deleted.

How can I request the deletion of my data?
Do you want your data to be permanently deleted? No problem. Simply go to your candidate center and click on "Settings" – there you can initiate the deletion of your data.

At which locations are you represented in Switzerland?
Our headquarters of Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon is located in picturesque Heerbrugg, SG, in eastern Switzerland – this is where the majority of our employees in Switzerland work. Other Swiss locations are in Zurich, Zug, and Renens.
