Leica iCON gps 100 and CR50

The Leica iCON gps 100 GNSS machine receiver is an ideal step towards machine control, allowing you to increase machine uptime and productivity for compact excavators, as it enables the Leica iCON site excavator 3D solution. In combination with the CGA100 GNSS antenna, compact excavators can benefit from machine-guidance functionalities, which reduces errors and operator fatigue while increasing machine utilisation. Moreover, this dual GNSS receiver can be used for special paving setups and applications, such as the 1UP configuration.
Small, yet powerful
The iCON gps 100 offers a simple installation, with a minimal number of parts and cables, thanks to the automotive Ethernet support. Once it has been installed, users no longer require physical access to the hardware for set-up, configuration or software updates. The web interface allows remote access to the device for convenient and fast support. The Leica iCON gps 100 seamlessly integrates with the Leica iCON and Leica MC1 software to enable 3D machine control solutions.
Paving – 1UP and dual GNSS
Leica Geosystems offers the 1UP configuration for paving applications with the Leica MC1 solution, providing a cost-efficient solution. Customers utilise only one total station, one prism for height and elevation and dual GNSS to control the heading of the machine. The unique GNSS feature gives a heading without the need for RTK corrections and is ideal for curb and gutter, asphalt pavers, as well as for milling machine control solutions. When a dual GNSS position-only solution is required, the Leica CR50 can be seamlessly integrated to provide RTK or NTRIP Corrections.
Optional Leica CR50 communication unit
Customers can optionally upgrade their machine-control solution with the Leica CR50 communication unit to receive RTK correction data via UHF radio or cellular modem. This provides more flexibility and freedom to adjust the machine-control solution to different projects and site requirements. It is compatible with machine control solutions using the Leica iCON gps 100 and Leica iCON gps 120. The key features of the Leica CR50 are its web interface, automotive Ethernet communication, the worldwide cellular modem and the integrated dual-frequency UHF radio that allows customers to easily change between 400 MHz and 900 MHz (USA and Canada only).
